Albiani Music Program

Katherine Albiani Middle School has a Beginning Band and a Concert Band program.  Students from Albiani have the unique opportunity to play and perform with the Pleasant Grove High School Marching Band and Jazz Band because both schools are fortunate enough to have Mr. DeWald as music director.  This page is created to post information and events specific to Albiani bands, as well as those that are combined with PGHS bands.

Elk Grove Music Festival

The Albiani Middle School Concert Band will be participating in a new band festival this year hosted by Joseph Kerr Middle School.  The event will be on Saturday, March 20, in the morning.  Call time TBA.  Dressy all black concert attire (black shirt/blouse, black pants/skirt/dress, black shoes and socks).  Boys please wear a tie.  Please make sure you bring home your instruments on Friday.  This event is mandatory for all Concert Band members.   

 

 

 

Zero Period Combined Jazz Band

Thursday morning Jazz Band schedule changes on a weekly basis, depending on Mr. DeWald's meeting times.  Watch this space for updates.  In general, the Jazz Combo Group meets on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m., and the Festival Jazz Band meets on Friday mornings at 7 a.m.  The schedule will also be posted on the Band homepage on Schoolloop. 

RECENT EVENTS

Albiani Concert Band partipated at the Golden Empire Festival at Sacramento State University on April 25, 2009.

The Albiani Beginning Band and Concert Band performed for the elementary school students who came for the campus tour and orientation on March 18, 2009. 

The Albiani Concert Band performed at the KAMS 8th Grade Promotion at Sheldon High Stadium on June 5, 2008.
