Having a student who participates in the Katherine Albiani Middle School or Pleasant Grove High School music program; which includes Color Guard, Winter Percussion, Concert Band, Marching Band and Jazz Band, automatically makes you a member of the organization.  There are no membership fees to join the Booster Club.

Music is such an important part of our student’s lives and the Booster Club’s mission is to give moral and financial support to these programs.  With all of the recent school district budget cuts to the music and arts programs, it is more important than ever to help the Booster Club ensure our students can continue to thrive in this top-notch music program.  Please consider becoming an active member of this organization.

KAMS and PGHS Band Camp 2009

The 2009-2010 school year will be starting a week earlier this year.  Band Camp is scheduled for the week of August 10th, Monday through Friday, from 3:00-6:30 p.m. for students in Marching/Concert Band, and 7:00-8:00 p.m. for Jazz Band.  All students who will be in KAMS or PGHS Concert Band and Jazz Band are expected to participate in Band Camp, which offers valuable experience and information for all band members.  Those interested in being in fall percussion will meet from 1:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday (Battery only 1:00-3:00), and 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday for Percussion Camp.  If you have a conflict because of sports or other commitments, please contact Mr. DeWald

What you'll need:  Your instrument.  Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes (no flip flops) as you will be learning to march on the track.  Bring sun protection (sunscreen and hat) and bring water and snacks/sack lunch daily.  The Band Boosters will be providing a pizza dinner probably on Wednesday.  You will be fitted for a uniform during this week also.  You must pay your uniform cleaning fee and sign your uniform contract before you are allowed to take home the uniform.  There will be an end-of-camp party on Friday--more details coming soon.
