E-Waste Recycling Event - Sept. 25th

The PGHS Band electronic waste collection event will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Rain or Shine!).  The event allows any California resident or business to drop off their electonic waste free of charge.  Y-Not Recycling collects these materials, strips them of their hazardous and toxic components, and recycles all other materials.  For every monitor, laptop, television console, or other qualified electronic device received, Y-Not makes a cash contribution directly to the Band Boosters to help us underwrite our trips and other expenses like equipment purchases. Please visit our webpage for a complete list of items we accept.  Tell all your friends and coworkers about this event!  Click here to download a flyer.

Be a Sponsor for the PGHS/KAMS Band

With the current state of the economy, music and arts programs in our school receive very little, if any, funding from the school district.  We depend on the generous donation from our community sponsors and parents, and through fundraising efforts, in order to have the funds to purchase music, participate in festivals and parades, purchase and repair instruments.  Please consider being a sponsor for the music programs at PGHS and KAMS.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated.  For donations of $200 and over, we will advertise your business on the side of the band trailer and on our website.  Please download the sponsor's letter and return it with your contribution.  Your donation is tax deductible.  Thank you.
